Holy guacamole! This comida is insane. I've been looking at all of the
Instagram photos from @los_barbaros_birria on main street in
Asbury Park NJ.
I went to this place because I saw @chef_pablo_toxqui
post it on his story once. I knew it had to be good
I ordered camarones con arroz y frijoles negros. The shrimp were spicy
and cooked perfectly. I also got a chorizo quesadilla- because well...
chorizo.
It had cotija cheese and sliced avocado and beans- also
amazing. They had fresh juices so I chose hibiscus jimaica.
They only
have birria on certain days; I didn't know today wasn't that day.
I will definitely have to go back Thursday through Sunday when the birria is served
