Visited Hillsborough Star Diner for lunch. Seated immediately on a busy Friday. Dated location but comfortable. Even Juke Boxes in the booths! Waitress took our order of drinks, long wait getting drinks. Chocolate Chip Pancakes, 1/2 BLT sandwich and soup, Bacon Burger Wrap.
Food arrived quickly, soup first then rest shortly after. French Onion our choice, rich flavor from the broth, decent amount of large croutons, and far too much cheese on top made it difficult to eat. BLT, half special with soup. Balanced with the exception of no mayonnaise, obviously coming off very dry. Wrap, Burger/Bacon, was well made, and very tasty. Tzatziki Sauce well used through wrap. Addition of chopped tomato that was diced small, bacon crisp. Wrap pressed and lightly fried on grill top. Very good wrap that I would recommend and get again. Pancakes, two large were fluffy and had large amount of the chocolate chips we so desired! Service good, pricing what you would expect, about $31 before tip.
